Natural haircare brand Rucker Roots announced the launch of their GTC (Ginger, Turnip, Carrot) Define & Stretch Curl Custard. The thick, moisturizing custard is infused with sesame seed oil, shea butter, and coconut oil. This has been formulated for thick, coily, and shrinkage prone hair–especially Type 4.  The cocktail of ingredients prevents hair breakage, increases shine, and reduces frizz.

This item pairs well with their GTC line for textured hair enhancing styling options that include wash n’ go’s, flexi-rod sets and twist outs. Holding true to the Rucker Roots brand, the custard contains no sulfates, parabens, petroleum, mineral oils, or artificial colors.

Rucker Roots co-founder Ellen Rucker-Seller says, “Everyone is loving the GTC Collection and we’re excited to complete the line with our Define & Stretch Curl Custard… We think that this gives us a complete group of products to cover everyone’s need.”

On March 4, 2020, the Define & Stretch Curl Custard will be available at RuckerRoots.com and retails for $13.99.

About Rucker Roots

Rucker Roots was created by sisters, Ellen and Ione Rucker, and was first introduced in 2015 on their reality TV show Love Thy Sister

The ideas behind the ingredients stem from the founder’s early experience with natural hair care. In the early 1980’s they were taught to use vegetables from the family garden along with oils, in order to achieve a healthy hair regimen. Several people in the Rucker family have contributed to the sister’s love for natural hair care. Their grandfather’s garden and grandmother, who was a hair model in Atlanta, GA in the 1930s, were the strongest influences in creating their brand. Their mother would also mix up kitchen concoctions using oils and vegetables for their hair regimen. When the sisters were older and had daughters of their own, they wanted them to have love and appreciation for their natural hair and implemented this through Rucker Roots.

They believe the natural ingredients will leave your hair stronger and longer because healthy hair starts at the root. All products in this collection are cruelty-free, for all hair types, and are packaged in 100% recycled plastics. The products are also paraben, sulfate and artificial color free.

Rucker Roots has been featured by several national media outlets including most recently appearing on Good Morning America for Women’s History Month. You can find out more about the brand by visiting RuckerRoots.com.
