Celebrity lace front wig and luxury hair company Missy Hair Boutique will open its newest retail store in New York in Harlem located at 1-3 West 125th Street. The Grand Opening Celebration activities will take place from December 28th – December 31, 2019.
Missy Hair Boutique has several locations. The flagship location is based in Atlanta with its sister locations in Fort Lauderdale and Clearwater, Florida. All of the locations provide luxury custom lace front wigs, glueless bob units, custom cuts, and colors as well as luxury bundle hair extensions.
The brand is well known for providing luxury wigs at an affordable price and for their wigs being worn by various chart-topping R&B celebrity artists, top female rappers, and top personalities alike. Some of the celebrity customers include Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Tiny Harris, Trina, Beyonce, and many more.
The new Harlem retail store is 10,000 square feet and features a full-service hair salon, private beauty suites, which will house top hairstylists, and other beauty services such as pedicure and manicure spa services. The boutique and salon will be outfitted with modern equipment and stocked with the top lace front wigs and hair bundles that vary in sizes, texture, and color.
Missy Hair Boutique is owned by Missy McDaniels one of a few African American women who own national wig boutiques and has become a force within the billion-dollar hair industry. “I am very excited about opening a new store in New York and being in Harlem is very special to me. I encourage everyone to stop by and tour the new boutique. We have so much to offer during our opening weekend,” says McDaniels.
The Grand Opening Celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, December 28 at 9:00 am It will start with the “Missy stroll” led by Missy McDaniels marching down 125th Street along with the members of the Cedar Grove High School band from Cedar Grove, New Jersey. Harlem officials, influencers, and other notables will join Missy in the ribbon-cutting ceremony
Missy Hair Boutique is known for its “Wigfest” and every day during the Grand Opening Celebration customers can enjoy discounted prices and free lace front wig installs for the first 100 customers. Special guest hairstylists @Iamrelentless and @Laced_by_Lex will be the master hairstylists onsite to provide lace front installations and demonstrations for customers.
