The New York Hair & Beauty Awards is pleased to announce Monaè Everett as a nominee for Celebrity Hairstylist of the Year award. Everett is among a select group of the top New York-based hairstylists and beauty salons being recognized in the inaugural awards ceremony.
Created by Creative Oceanic, the 2019 New York Hair & Beauty Awards ceremony was created to recognize celebrate and highlight the achievements of New York City’s top beauty professionals.
Nearly every facet of the beauty industry will be recognized, including hairstylists and barbers, makeup artists, nail techs and brow and lash specialists, along with salons, day spas, and cosmetics and skincare clinics.
Everett’s clientele reads like a who’s who list of music and entertainment: including Mariah Carey, Indya Moore, Serena Williams, Yara Shahidi, H.E.R., and Laura Osnes. She is also an American Board Certified Haircolorist and has worked under top global haircare brands, such as Wella, Sebastian, and Mizani, and has gained international renown as an industry expert for all hair textures. She also offers her take on today’s beauty and hair trends while providing styling tips as a content provider for Hype Hair, Sophisticate’s, Naturally Curly, and Beauty Industry Report.
